Sunshine Coast Conservatory of Dance continues to provide excellent training for my son and daughter across all genres of dance. Director Karen Manley has tailored training programs to support my children’s needs and aspirations including preparation for examinations, scholarship competitions, troupe and solo eisteddfods, and community performances.

Both of my children have successfully auditioned for the Australian Ballet School’s Interstate Training Program and have been part of their program for the past 3 years.

My daughter has won numerous scholarships, regional and national titles across a variety of genres and is currently cast as one of the Hortensias in the Australian tour of Matilda the Musical.


I highly recommend this school for students of all capabilities and interests.

My daughters have been students at the Sunshine Coast Conservatory of Dance since their doors opened. Never has a day passed that we have questioned this decision. My 17 year old daughter has danced with Miss Karen since she was 3 years old, so the decision to become a student of SCCOD was simple.

We have found that her professionalism and quality is of the highest calibre. This dance school instills not only the highest quality of training available on the Sunshine Coast, the children are nurtured and guided by a team of talented teachers, bringing out their individual potential, enthusiasm and hard work ethic incorporating all genres of dance.

My girls have participated with great success in RAD and CSTD examinations as well as group and solo eisteddfod routines.

It is with the solid foundation of SCCOD that my daughters now are equipped to embark on their own journeys in the dance and performance industry. SCCOD has become family, great lifelong friendships have been formed.
